Roscoe was a drug baron and secondary antagonist in Gangstar: Miami Vindication.

Background[]

Roscoe was the leader of a large, powerful drug gang, and earned a lots of money from it.

In his early days, Roscoe was a drug kingpin in Miami, until he became one of the most wanted criminals in the city and fled to a swamp in order to hide from the police. He hid there for ten years and then later adopted Betty.

Events of Miami Vindication[]

Johnny meets Roscoe after Clive Klick has told him that he's got connections down in Miami, so maybe he could help Johnny with the search for Joey. After meeting Betty first, Johnny and Roscoe finally meet each other. The first thing Johnny has to do is to rescue Hank from the alligators. After that, Roscoe sends him on a couple of jobs against the Vega Gang, though the only thing Johnny learns from doing them is that Victor Vega doesn't have his brother. Other than that, Roscoe helps Johnny in recognizing faces on pictures, so that Johnny takes his photos of e.g. Vega and Roberto Bolano to him.

Johnny later finds out that Roscoe was partly behind the kidnapping of Joey. Johnny ignites lots of chaos and leads the police to Roscoe's hideout, which eventually led to the latter's arrest.

According to Betty, Roscoe died shortly after his arrest.

Events of New Orleans[]

In Early Release mission, he's actually still alive and sent to Algiers Prison after 5 years in Miami prison. The player arrived to rescue him by Fruitfly-132, killed the guards. During the escape, Roscoe agreed to work for them as a moonshine maker if he has his freedom.
